Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Electroneurodiagnostic technologists use electronic graphs to determine if patients are suffering from a central nervous system condition or disease like epilepsy, tumors, stroke, or trauma. The graphs are records of the brain’s electrical activity.

Elctroneurodiagnostic technologists usually work in hospitals, laboratories, or physicians’ offices. They:

·       Prepare medical records.

·       Apply electrodes and select instruments settings.

·       Perform Electroneurodiagnostic tests.

·       Adjust and maintain their equipment.

·       Record test results.

·       Identify patients abnormalities.

Average Salary: $20,000- $35,000

Educational Requirements:

Electroneurodiagnostic technologist must have a high school diploma and some courses In computer technology before beginning specialize training.

Electroneurodiagnostic training can be obtained through vocational schools, community colleges, and in some cases hospitals. Training takes one year and is followed by another year of supervised experience. Before beginning practice Electroneurodiagnostic technologists must pass written and oral examinations.

Duties and responsibilities:

Registered dietitian provide advice and education about nutrition and its effect  on health .they work on school , educational administration ,  research , hospitals clinics ,industry ,food service management and provide practice . registered dietitians :

Organize and supervise food service operation and meal preparation .

Make dietary recommendations.

Counsel patients and clients about diets .

Super vice food  purchasing .

Study  the nutritional value of food and how it is used by the body .

Average salary : $30,000-$40,000

Educational Requirements :

Students should take a challenging high school curriculum that includes math and science courses . high school business courses my also prove helpful .

A bachelor’s degree in dietetics or a related field approve by the American dietetic association is required .Registered dietitians must also pass professional exam and complete a supervised paracum.

Dietetic technician assist dietitians in evaluating , organizing ,and conducting nutrition services and programs for schools , hospitals ,and industry . They:

Gather and evaluate diet histories .

Assist in planning patient meals .

Provide nutritional counseling .

Conduct food service operations .

Oversee food service preparation and service .

Maintain records .

Educational requirements:

Students wanting to become dietetic technician should graduate from high school with a well –rounded program . high school business courses may prove helpful .

 

Dietetic technicians must complete a two-year

Associate’s degree program that accepted  by the American dietetic   association . they must then pass a commission on dietetics registration examination .
