But this relationship is very complex. It is very difficult to clearly identify the cause / effect relationships between environmental factors and disease, and this requires the participation of specialists in diverse areas of knowledge. Only undertaking a joint effort can discover more about this complex relationship and help define priorities for our health.

Education : Environmental
health specialists, or environmental health inspectors, work to ensure
community safety and health by enforcing regulations and laws, conducting
public outreach programs and implementing health inspections. They also seek to
reduce or eliminate hazardous pollutants that are detrimental to the
environment and public health
