Duties and responsibilities: They work under the supervision of occupational therapists as part
of a team with physicians, counselors, and physical therapists. Most
occupational therapy assistants are employed at hospitals, and many work at
nursing homes. Some work for schools for the handicapped.
Occupational therapy assistants may also work in rehabilitation centers or at
adult daycare centers.
Salary: $12,000 - $15,000 (Occupational Therapy Aides)

Education: Occupational
therapy aides must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. They
receive their training while on the job .They must also pass a national
examination to earn certification as a qualified assistant.
