Operating Room Technician

Operating Room Technician

Research, look for, and provide the following:

Duties and responsibilities: They are responsible for having surgical instruments, sterile bandages and linens, needed fluids, and other equipment ready for the operation.  They may also assist doctors by handing them needed instruments during surgery and for counting sponges and needles before and after the operation.  

Salary:  $16,000 - $22,000

Education: A high school diploma or GED certificate is required.  Many vocational and junior colleges offer programs in operating room technology, and training may also be taken at large hospitals.

I think that this reflection is true because being nice is good to have friends and have more opportunities to work or things like that using bad words are not good so no one will want to help ba or something is so better be nice then  rude

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Research, look for, and provide the following:

 

Duties and responsibilities: They work under the supervision of occupational therapists as part of a team with physicians, counselors, and physical therapists. Most occupational therapy assistants are employed at hospitals, and many work at nursing homes.  Some work for schools for the handicapped.  Occupational therapy assistants may also work in rehabilitation centers or at adult daycare centers.  

Salary: $12,000 - $15,000 (Occupational Therapy Aides) 
$17,000 - $26,000 (Occupational Therapy Assistants)

Education: Occupational therapy aides must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  They receive their training while on the job .They must also pass a national examination to earn certification as a qualified assistant.

Duties AND RESPONSIBILITIES: They supervise personnel, financial, medical, and nursing administration.    Some are also involved in teaching and research.

SALARY: $40,000 - $55,000 

EDUCATION: Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English.
